Buchanan Community Hydro Society is a community benefit society (BENCOM) based on the east side of Loch Lomond, Scotland.
The project’s financial surpluses are used to provide community benefit in the Buchanan area. Everyone living in the Buchanan area is encouraged to become involved.
The project was handed over to the community who, with support from Energy4All and Local Energy Scotland, have taken the project forward.
